Kar-men Cheng

Currently three years into my art practice, trying to deepen my craft and get proficient in a process of my own.

I also do copywriting, editing (text and sound), and conduct sociological research on a freelance basis. My recent research work pertains to arts-based community development and strata-titled malls as sites of cultural capital.

Over the last ten years, I’ve worked in advertising, consulting, and diverse education-related roles.   These jobs offer a space for my love for qualitative research, critical theory, and art.
